Identifying Enablers and Barriers to Achieving Business-IT Alignment Through Enterprise Architecture Practice

I got the opportunity to attend and present at the 2022 2nd International Conference on Big Data Engineering and Education (BDEE), which was held online from the 6th to the 7th of August. I, along with Sherah Kurnia and Rod Dilnutt co-authored the paper “Identifying Enablers and Barriers to Achieving Business-IT Alignment Through Enterprise Architecture Practice”. In our paper, we explored the research question: What are the key EA practice enablers and blockers to achieving business-IT alignment for organisations as perceived by enterprise architects in Australia? I was honoured to receive the Best Presentation award for Session 4: Information Technology and Algorithm Science. We’d also like to thank Svyatoslav Kotusev for assisting with the data collection process.
